Quickstart
Quickstart begins after the complete NoDrift portfolio folder is placed inside a new project folder and opened. The user types begin, then NoDrift initiates the behavioral governance environment before project work starts.
1. Place The Portfolio In A New Project Folder
Create a new empty project folder. Put the complete delivered NoDrift portfolio folder inside it by itself.
2. Open The Project And Type begin
Open the NoDrift portfolio folder in the AI app. Type begin in the project chat. Do not describe the project until NoDrift asks.
3. NoDrift Initiates Behavioral Governance
NoDrift reads the required governance files, loads source discipline, approval rules, privacy boundaries, written project memory, correction, and communication controls. The work does not depend on unreliable app memory. This can take 2 to 5 minutes.
4. NoDrift Asks For The Project
NoDrift explains the startup state, the default Standard Work profile, /goal, and the approval rule. Then it asks for the project description.
5. Describe, Check, Then Work
The user describes the project and adds files or details. NoDrift checks missing information, risks, sources, boundaries, and objectives. When the user and AI are both satisfied, NoDrift initiates the project working environment, explains the workflow, and gives the first directive.
